Description | Yinpan Wang: On my way home Chinese visual artist, designer, and scenographer Yinpan Wang (1996) stands out for her extraordinary sensitivity to combining and processing often disparate types of materials using the laborious method of hand sewing. The gallery space is transformed into a hand-stitched environment of wonderful characters and fantastic objects created from found artifacts and objects collected from the inhabitants of Blansko. At the same time, she thematizes the mundane nature of journeys through busy Chinese city parks, which represent not only a space for rest and contemplation but above all for meeting, playing, and discovering. The entire exhibition is tactile and suitable for children's viewers, accompanied by a workshop and a worksheet from the NA DOMA gallery series. |
