Description Virtual reality (VR) headsets are a technology that cyclically returns to public attention every few years. At Masaryk University, we have been exploring and researching meaningful ways to integrate VR into education at various levels for nearly a decade. However, it is not just about selecting applications. This talk will introduce the audience to both the potential and challenges of this technology, including practical examples from different educational levels—from high schools to universities—and various fields, ranging from topographic mapping instruction and English courses at the Faculty of Arts to supporting student well-being in distance learning programs both in the Czech Republic and abroad.
