| Description | The lecture will highlight water as a problem in medieval silver mining, and water as a drive for mining equipment in the 14th century in the Czech kingdom. The topic will be presented in several archaeological examples from Vysočina (CZ), where in the last 20 years advanced multidisciplinary research, containing archaeological excavations followed by extensive magnetic exploration and geochemical and archaeobotanic approaches. |
