| Description | The paper deals with selected prose works for teenagers that have won the Golden Ribbon literary prize in the category of literary works for teenagers in the period since 2000. It focuses on two prose works with a distinctive girl protagonist, intended for teenage readers aged twelve and above; Ivana Janišová's prose Anka béčko a nepodstatné detaily and Michaela Fišarová's prose Nikolina cesta. Using the method of literary-scientific interpretive analysis, it characterizes the motives and topics of the stories and studies the psychosocial maturation of the characters in the period of adolescence. It explores the process of searching for identity; ways of coping with new social roles, the development of personality characteristics, new skills, the building of interpersonal relationships, and examines the literary and artistic means by which these processes of psychosocial development are captured. The paper is part of a larger dissertation research and aims to analyze and interpret selected texts of literature for children and youth; to study the representation of the process of psychosocial maturation at different ages, from preschool to adolescence, and to compare them with psychological theories of the life cycle - especially with Erik Erikson's theory of psychosocial development. |
