Description The paper "Non-binary Polish Poetry and the Outline of Translation Issues " focuses not only on the analysis of contemporary Polish poetry, which reflects non-binary gender identity, but also on the possible specific challenges associated with the translation of this poetry into Czech. In the introduction, the genesis and context of non-binary poetry in Poland will be presented, with an emphasis on its thematic and linguistic diversity. The paper will then focus on the linguistic aspects of translation, in particular the issues of gender-neutral language, creative work with grammatical categories and the transfer of culturally specific meanings. The analysis will be based on the specific poetic work of the creator(s) - Anouk Herman and Ada Rączka. The aim of the paper is to highlight how non-binary poetry upsets traditional linguistic norms and what strategies can be used to maintain this subversive power in translation. The results of this analysis will contribute to the wider debate on inclusive language and its role in literary production and translation practice.
