| Description | The Second Crusade of 1421 was one of the greatest military actions of Catholic Europe against the Hussites. Despite the magnificent preparations and the participation of thousands of warriors, the campaign failed. The question of why this happened was asked by contemporary chroniclers and later historians as well. This book offers the most comprehensive treatment to date of the circumstances and course of the crusade, based on an extensive study of sources, including previously unknown or overlooked texts.
