The educational meeting entitled "XIV. Working Meeting of Lecturers of Czech as a Foreign Language at German-speaking Universities" took place from 14. 5. to 17. 5. 2025 at the Institute of Czech Literature of the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University in Brno. The event thematically fulfilled this year's assignment of the Czech National Library "How do you say never again today?" The international event was actively attended by 13 foreign participants from German-speaking universities (Berlin, Munich, Leipzig, Tübingen, Göttingen, Erfurt, Salzburg, Vienna), with the supported persons being lecturers from Germany. Furthermore, 6 lecturers from Masaryk University, 3 literary authors from Brno universities and 5 external lecturers at the visited institutions actively participated in the event (14. 5. 2025: Mgr. Zajícová and Mgr. M. Chybová – Milan Kundera Library in MZK Brno; 15. 5. 2025: Martin Reiner and Mgr. J. Králová – Moravian Jewish Museum Malý Mehrin; 15. 5. 2025: dr. O. Trávníčková – Host Publishing House). Author readings by students Apolena Vybíralová, Kristýna Kašparová and Dominik Frček (14. 5. 2025) and four professional lectures took place at the Institute of Czech Literature of the Faculty of Arts, MU (15. 5. and 16. 5. 2025). Lecture by prof. R. Horáček's "Unknown Statues in Brno" took place at the MU Rectorate (16. 5. 2025). The excursion to Villa Tugendhat (16. 5. 2025) was followed by a guided tour of significant places of memory on the theme of the event "In the footsteps of Brno personalities - Brno's Stolpersteine" (dr. Z. Fišer). The author's reading, lectures at the ÚČL FF MU as well as workshops by six foreign participants and a round table (16. 5. 2025) with seven contributions on the theme of the event "How to say never again today?" were also visited by the student and academic public. Topics of expert lectures by participants from MU on 15. 5. and 16. 5. 2025: Mgr. Tereza Dědinová, Ph.D., lecture War and totalitarianism in Czech prose after 2000. Mgr. Hana Žižková, Ph.D., and Mgr. Zuzana Nevěřílová, Ph.D., lecture Digital data in teaching. Mgr. et Mgr. Marek Lollok, Ph.D., lecture Contemporary Czech drama, theatre and society. Prof. PaedDr. Radek Horáček, Ph.D., lecture Unknown statues in Brno. Workshop topics 16. 5. 2025: dr. Jiří Karas: "The question of forgiveness, peace and tolerance. Contribution to the integration of these concepts into teaching." Mgr. Dagnar Žídková Gunter: Film, film, film... - project work in teaching at the Czech Cultural Institute. Mgr. Ctirad Sedlák: Moscow - the border of intertextuality. Lesson plan with texts by Jiří Weil, Eugen Ruge and Alena Machoninová. Dr. Galina Vondráčková: A different view of the Holocaust - based on Sharon Dodua's book Otoo Adas Raum. Mgr. Simona Barazi: Wanderlust. When history speaks differently. Mgr. A. Bučková: "Czech Germans: A GIRL NAMED URŠULA" (drama pedagogical workshop).
