| Description | The monograph focuses on the issues of media communication and media discourse, which are highly dynamic, taking on new forms and realizing new communicative goals. Media texts contain stable units (phraseologisms and precedent phenomena), on the example of which the dynamics of language communication can be observed. In media discourse there are purposeful transformations of these units connected with functional updating of the message in the context of media "competition" for the readers' attention. The monograph examines the functional load of the stable units and their transformational and linguocultural potential, which becomes a powerful tool for the realization of the expressive-evaluative component and individual creative abilities of the authors of analytical media texts. |
