Description The research aimed to find how students perceived a web application for online inquiry-based learning in history teaching. The research sample consisted of six selected classes from three different upper secondary schools. For this purpose, the HistoryLab app was chosen from the online free available applications, platforms, etc., which supported the Czech language, and it was also because it was available for a wide range of educational levels, unlike most of the available applications, which were oriented purely on primary schools. To assess students’ evaluation of teacher-led lessons using the HistoryLab application, a custom questionnaire was developed and used.
