| Description | Application of non-destructive archaeological techniques, including remote sensing and geophysical survey, to study major Early Medieval centres with focus on the localisation, identification, and interpretation of anthropogenic activities. The poster presents results from Lidar scanning of sites Pliska and Veliki Preslav. Together 36 km2 was scanned in different environments. Processing of more than 10 bilion points brought challenges and solutions. |
