In this panel, we will focus on presenting selected challenges to active aging in this complex system from the perspective of systemic risks, with an emphasis on the link between health and socioeconomic status. The aim is to counter demographic alarmism with empirical data that can see beyond the mere demographic composition of the population and emphasize the importance of primary prevention in the broadest sense of the word.
