| Description | A stable mixture of bacteriophages of the genus Kayvirus with ciprofloxacin or amoxicillin in buffered physiological solution in spray applicators for topical application. Depending on the bacterial strain, the mixtures exhibit additive to synergistic antimicrobial activity and are therefore suitable for the treatment of topical staphylococcal infections that are difficult to treat with standard approaches. The resulting preparation can be relatively easily prepared or individually adjusted as part of a magistral preparation for use in the desired applicator, with a shelf life of up to 2 months. |
