| Description | The critical catalogue accompanying the exhibition Development and Transformation of Applied Arts Museums in Moravia represents the first attempt to comprehensively address this issue in a historical and museological context. Its main goal is to capture the turning points and twists in the history of this phenomenon and, at the same time, to present it as an integral part of cultural, political and economic processes in the Czech lands. The first two chapters are focused to an analysis of Moravian applied arts museum work and conceptual issues related to the exhibition project. These are followed by the final part of the catalog, which contains rich pictorial documentation divided into individual thematic sections of the presentation. |
