| Description | 1,3-Dipolar cycloaddition reactions are generally known reactions leading to formation of five-membered ring. Criss-cross addition as their special case enables formation of fused five-membered heterocyclic compounds in one step synthesis. Overview of several examples from various azines and dipolarophiles is presented as well as interesting chemical behaviour of some of the formed products. |
