Description The aim of the present study was to determine the interrelationship among three parameters: the variability ins systolic blood pressure and pulse intervals and baroreflex sensitivity. The study proved that pulse intervals variability positively correlates with BRS and has a damping effect on systolic blood pressure variability. Our analysis disclosed an additional effect of a primary variability of systolic blood pressure on this relationship.
