Description	Men hospitalized with the first-episode schizophrenia were treated with risperidone in monotherapy. Positive symptoms were more influenced ( 42% reduction of total score of positive PANSS subscale) than negative symptoms (29% reduction of total score of negative PANSS subscale)during the acute in average 4-weeks treatment.
