Description	Study VALIANT is double-blind trial compared the effect of the valsartan, captopril, nad combination of the two on mortality among patients with myocardial infartion com-plicated by left ventricular systolic dysfunction (MI with LVSD). Conlcusion :valsartan is as effective as captopril in patients with MI and LVSD. Combination valsartan and captopril increased the rate of adverse events without improving survival
