Description Results of one-year follow-up of clinical consequences of hippocampal volume in the first episode schizophrenia. We found no association of hippocampal volume asessed during the first episode with PANSS and neurpsychological scores one year after the first episode. We found additive effect of hippocampal volume and prefrontal functioning as assessed by WCST on the PANSS subscores one year after the first episode.
