| Description | The 2nd Theatre Workshop of the Japanese Kyogen took place in Prague on 18 to 30 June 2004. It was led by Shigeyama Shime, a professional actor and master of the Kyogen, of the Kyoto branch of the Okura sect. The participants of the workshop were students of acting, professional and amateur theatre people. The work at the workshop included translating a traditional Japanese farce into Czech and adapting it for the stage. The event was organized by Ondřej Hýbl and Pavel Drábek, under the auspices of the Czech-Japanese Association. |
