Description Cardiotoxicity of anthracycline used for leukemia treatment is well known. Recently we observed decrease of systolic (SBP) and diastolic pressure (DBP) after the anthracycline treatment, which is seen still after several years. The link between cardiotoxicity and the blood pressure regulation was examined in the present study. Significant decrease of SBP in patients with low EF indicates a link between blood pressure decrease and anthracycline cardiotoxicity. Baroreflex sensitivity is not influenced.
