| Description | Predominated red algal facies (Coralline branch rudstones-bafflestones and Rhodolith rudstones)resemble the facies of "cool-water" carbonates in the Mediterranean. This interpretation moderates or eliminates the previous discordance with palaeobathymetry of surrouding calcareous clays and corresponds with up-to-date palaeoclimatic conclusions for the Lower Badenian RAL of the Polish part of the Carpathian Foredeep. |
