Description The contribution is another output of a three-year research project called Information and Communication Technologies and School Culture (Czech Science Foundation, grant #406/03/P119). The author presents some results of this empirical research stage, addressing the key domain of school functioning the learning- and teaching-friendly environment in detail at two levels. He first shows at a general level which elements of learning-friendly environment are most influenced by ICT. In another part of the paper, the author analyzes the responses of the headmasters relating to the situation at their respective school.
