Description In the space of communicative act, a human being is the measure of all things. In relation to myself there arise both local and temporal characteristics, as well as interpersonal relationships. The fundamental relationship myself - you and its modifications of polite natures, have the organizing charakter. The juxtaposition of the Czech, Polish and Slovak manifestations of this relationship demonstrated that the situation in Czech and Slovak is not quite identical (differences in the verb paradigm). Significant variation in the expression of basic interpersonal relatinship is visible between the Czech and the Slovak language versus Polish. The Polish Language makes use of different politeness expresions. An equivalent of the Czech and the Slovak honorific opposition ja/já - vy is in Polish only the opposition ja - pan, pani. Only the means being the part of the said opposition have systemic or neutral character.
