Description The Council of Free Czechoslovakia was primary political organ of representatives of Czechoslovak democratic exiles. The question of Czech-Slovak relations was not originally one of the primary focuses of the Council. The work of the Council was negatively impacted by Communist activities and propaganda from non-democratic exiles (Nazi collaborators, etc.). For this reason the Council eventually incorporated this issue within its general program, and in time this became a separate program for addresing Czech-Slovak relations. After the initial "negative" definitions (which would be unacceptable in a free Czechoslovakia in the future), a federalist conception was adopted. Selected documents are discused.
