| Description | This article examines the unique standing of former Czechoslovak diplomats, the importance of their contants with politicians in Western Europe and North America and with exiled politicians from other countries in Central and Eastern Europe. It traces the formation of national émigré organizations and their integration into international organizatios, the policy creating activities for the "foreign policy" of exile. It also looks at the nature of the resources available and issues related to working with them, while attempting to break the boundaries of traditionalist "diplomatic history". |
