Description In a group of first-episode schizophrenia patients gray matter reduction in prefrontal areas did not correlate with risperidone treatment parameters (cummulative dose, duration of treatment in days). The GM changes in these areas cannot be ascribed to the influence of the treatment with antipsychotics.
