Description	The purpose of this chapter is to present a method of kernel estimates in modelling survival data. Within the framework of kernel estimates we draw our attention to the choice of the bandwidth and propose a special iterative method for estimation of it. The chapter also provides a bibliographical recent survey. As regards the applications we focus on applications in cancer research.
