Description In the relation to the scientific cognition we observe today on one hand the scepticism, relativism or nihilism, on the other hand then the attitude quite opposite, which is an understanding the science as a powerful ideology, as new religion based on the belief that the science is the only human cognitive activity which is able of right cognition. The author of study believes that these attitudes result above all from three mutually connected problems, which the contemporary science confronts: 1. Problem of verity and objectiveness of scientific cognition; 2. Problem of progress in science; 3. Problem of influence of non-scientific factors on the development of scientific cognition.
