Description Paper brings new findings to the provenance of Rottmayrs Paintings (now in Vienna, Österreichische Galerie; Graz, Landesmuseum Joanneum and Prague, National Gallery) painted for the Pallais Thun in Prague, Lesser Town. In Appendix are published the contracts (1701) with the painter Johann Rudolf Byss and sculpture Franz Preiss for the hitherto unknown decoration of the palace.
