| Description | The Italian translation of Peter Alfonsi's Disciplina clericalis, whose tradition is quite active, is coupled in all its witnesses by the translation "A" of Martin of Braga's Formula vitae honestae, whose tradition is conservative. Through a joined enquiry of both the translations - and this is by far the most innovative aspect of this study - relationship between the different redactions of the translation of the Disciplina clericalis - whose witnesses are increased by two units - is deeply enquired. In the book a synoctical edition of the redactions B P M N and a semicritical edition of the Formula vitae honestae are provided. |
