| Description | Novgorodsev Pavel was a Russian lawyer and law philosopher. He examined the social and material guarantees for equality amongst citizens, especially the "right to a dignified human existence" in legal categories. He denied the historical role of the social ideal, rejecting at the same time attepts at reviving traditional political ideals as no less false and historically justifiable. Social and political ideals should be excluded from history, as irrational attempts to stop it. |
