| Description | The aim of work was the isolation of PCR-ready DNA from dairy products by magnetic hydrophilic poly(2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate-co-ethylene dimethylmethacrylate) (P(HEMA-co-EDMA)) microspheres in the presence of an aqueous two-phase system (composed of PEG 6000 and NaCl). DNA was apparently adsorbed on magnetic particles surface from two-phase aqueous (PEG 6000/NaCl) system. The sensitivity of PCR of the DNA isolation method tested was comparable with the phenol extraction method. |
