Description	This paper is considered to be a critical evaluation of research perspectives applied to the cooperation of two eduacation sub-disciplines: media education and gifted education. It comments on how these two areas of educational research are examined within their recent (non-elitist and highly inspirative) Anglo-American educational discourse.
