Description Had, který se kouše do ocasu (The Serpent swallowing its own tail) is the first czech anthology of Latin American Fantastic Short Stories. The anthology contains 55 fantastic stories (20 of 19th century and 35 of 20th century) by 47 authors, mostly unknown for the czech readers (for exemple, Juan Montalvo. Eduardo Ladisalo Holmberg, Macedonio Fernández, Héctor Murena, Amado Nervo, Rubén Darío, Alfonso Reyes, Felisberto Hernández, Mario Levrero, etc.). The accompanying study examines the origin, the development and the significance of the Latin American Fantastic Short Story. The analysis of the ambiguity closes the study. The bibliography is dedicated to the subject. The antology will be published by the publishing house Host Brno.
