| Description | The anthology Community and the Magic of Visuality brings together almost forty articles written at the occasion of the symposium organised by the Czech section of INSEA (International Society for Education through Art) and the Department of Art at the Faculty of Education of Masaryk University in Brno. A central theme of the symposium is communication. Since the theme is so broad, there were selected three parts with distinctive problems in focus. In the first part of the anthology a problem of visual language is widely discussed. The second part contains articles that deal with various aspects of institutional background of art education. The last part focuses on the issues of enculturation and socialisation of art as central ones for the art education. There are also articles focused on art education of individuals with special needs. |
