| Description | The paper discusses the novelettes of the German-Moravian author Oskar Jellinek (1886-1949). The literary image of Slavic-Moravian characters is focused. Jellinek portrays his characters as strong and natural rural people who suffer from their own inevitable morals. Thus, the traditional slavic stereotype of the 19th century takes a tragic turn. |
