Description	The research focuses on the description and comparison of the level of making online friends among different age groups with different demographic characteristics. The cross-sectional data were obtained within the World Internet Project research, which surveyed a representative sample of the Czech population (N = 1,586 respondents aged 12 years or more). The data were collected via a survey using face-to-face interviews in September 2007.
