| Description | We know that, concerning the term of saudade , exists an aura of mystery, which is first of all the result of the lack of certainties about its exact etymology. Its pronunciation et its accentuation are also still unknown. Regarding the meaning, the concept of saudade nor is easy to capture in order to give a definition and to discern its essence. However, as we cannot content ourselves with the postulate of the impossibility to define it because it would have too much power over the Portuguese spirits, we study in this article a range of speeches gathered during our field works in Brazil. Thus, we weigh up the importance of the method of the questionnaire for appreciate the nature of this linguistics’ sentiment. |
