| Description | Firstly, presented study focuses on the history of 70mm film format. Secondly, it aims at inception of 70mm exhibition in CSSR as well as at contemporary 70mm theater houses network across Europe and the Czech Republic. Furthermore, the analysis is mainly concerned with local (czech) version of 70mm film festival in Krnov and brings to light it's journey from technophilia to cinephilia. The key conclusion can be summarized as follows: analysed event gradually combined three approaches towards audiences and films: technophilic and cinephilic; educational and entertaining; local and international. |
