Description We prepared molecular aluminum, titanium, and zirconium alkoxide phosphates as precursors for the nonhydrolytic condensation routes and for thermolytic methods. Syntheses included the reactions between derivates of phosphoric acid OP(OSiMe3)3 and OP(OSiMe3)2(OH) and metalloorganic compounds, such as metal alkyls and alkoxides. The single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis was used to establish the molecular structures of precursors. Their complete characterization was carried out by analytical and spectroscopic methods (NMR, IR, MS). The prepared compounds served as molecular precursors to metallophosphate materials.
