| Description | Ferruccio Busoni presented his concept of neoclassicism not in his Entwurf einer neuen Ästhetik der Tonkunst - as the title might suggest - but in his 1920 article Junge Klassizität published in the Frankfurter Zeitung. He conceives the junge Klassizität as an ultimate artistic ideal, a perfectly composed work of art attracting by its beauty and purity of musical syntax. |
