Description This volume of Antiqua Cuthna deals with the work and life of Fridrich Bridelius, a famous Czech baroque writer and composer. Ii contains conference proceedings from the conference "Fridrich Bridelius SJ - stále nový a neznámý" , Kutná Hora, 27.-30. 11. 2008. The papers are focused on varous issues, for example on the history of Czech (and Slovak) literature and music, including their tradition in the Czech folklore, on the development of Czech Baroque language and on modern ways of publishing Early Modern Czech texts (especially hymn-books).
