Description	The MUFIN Image Annotation is a software tool that allows to obtain keyword annotation for any public image on the internet. The functionality is readily accessible via a Firefox extension. The tool exploits similarity searching over a large database of high-quality images with rich and precise text metadata. Efficient image search technologies developed by our group allow us to select the most similar pictures in real time and utilize their annotations as seed keywords, which are then further refined using different semantic knowledge sources. The automatically generated keywords can be utilized e.g. to facilitate tagging of photos in web galleries.
