Description Electroacousic music can be in most cases considered a dead end of musical development in the context of so-called New Music in 1950s–1980s. This brief study with a touch of personal contribuion relates to certain historical aspects of the history of electronic and concrete music in Brno in 1960s and 1970s. It should be noted that the electronic studio existed at the Brno branch of the Czechoslovak Radio for almost 10 years, but it never reached the official statutory recogniion. However, it was at this studio where perhaps the greatest number of recordings of the former Czechoslovakia was produced.
