| Description | Academic study of religin as a discipline defined by its subject of study (not by its method, nor the type of questions it poses) has got into a critical position. Such move is a result of the criticism of religion as a sui generis category, and of the deconstruction of the concept of religion, which has read its genealogy as a part of practices related to the construction of the modern political and economic order. In this position it searches new possibilities of its disciplinary constitution, which means searching answers for the questions concerning its subject as well as its ways of analysis. |
