| Description | In the first part of the lecture, I show that the Barber paradox is dissimilar to Russell's paradox, moreover, that it is not a paradox. I disclose its probable historical origin and that of its popular versions. Finally, I discuss the source of its alleged paradoxicality, showing that it is a semantic paradox in a weaker sense. |
