About the programme

Based on bilateral international agreements with partner countries (currently Argentina, France, Germany, Poland, Austria and Slovakia), the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports provides support for joint research projects in the form of support for the mobility of the researchers involved. Joint research projects must engage in basic research.

Basic information:

• Usually, two-year projects, whereby the programme can support the same project team max 3x
• The support consists of funding the costs of researchers travelling abroad. The sending party covers the project investigator's transport costs from his/her place of residence in the host country. The host party covers his/her living expenses (accommodation, meals, pocket money).
• MOBILITY activities support stays of 1-15 days and 1-3 months.
• The activity provides support for investigating one joint research project for CZK 100,000 per year, i.e. CZK 200,000 for the entire implementation period in the case of cooperation with European countries, and in the case of cooperation with non-European countries, support for CZK 160,000 per year, i.e. CZK 320,000 for the entire implementation period.
