The Ministry of the Interior has announced a public competition in the research, experimental development and innovation programme Open Challenges in Security Research 2023-2029 (OPSEC). The subject of the public competition is the selection of proposals for applied research and experimental development projects supported by public funds of the Ministry of the Interior in order to meet the objectives of the Programme. Proposals for projects of a fundamental research nature are not eligible for this call for proposals.
The main objective of the OPSEC Programme is to systematically stimulate and develop the interest of the research and innovation sphere in engaging in solving security challenges for modern society and thus forming the basis for the development of competitive security innovations.
The programme is divided into 3 sub-programmes:
The project proposal must be submitted through the information system of the Czech Technology Agency (https://sista.tacr.cz/ucet/). All information on the tender and tender documents can be found on the provider's website.
The deadline for submission of project proposals is 28th May 2025.
