The project proposal Excellent diploma thesis is intended for students whose bachelor's thesis has been assessed with a final grade of A if it was part of a previously successfully completed study. If the bachelor thesis was not part of a previous successful degree, the proposal may be submitted by a student in the top 15% of the programme according to the grade point average achieved. The project proposal can be submitted by a student of a master's degree programme in the seventh semester (in the eighth semester if he/she started his/her studies in the spring semester) or by a student of a continuing study programme in the first semester (or in the second semester if he/she started his/her studies in the spring semester).

Basic information:

• Financial support per project - max. 60.000,- CZK
• Eligible costs - remuneration for the researcher (max. 18.000,- CZK), travel (accommodation, travel, conference fees), services, other (study literature, publication costs...), consumables

The project proposal is submitted via ISEP Project Proposal Editor by selecting the appropriate template (Grant Agency of MU: Excellent diploma thesis (14.11.2023 - 31.01.2024), creating a "New Proposal" and filling in all items:

• annotation,
• professional characteristics of the project, briefly stating:
  
  • characteristics of the problem to be addressed,
  • the current state of the solution,
  • the objectives of the project and how they will be achieved,
  • the timetable for the solution,
  • expected outputs,
  • in case of planned participation in a conference, workshop or another presentation event, expected presentation of contributions (poster, lecture, publication in proceedings),
  • a list of professional results achieved so far in the given field (description of results, presentations at professional seminars, results in professional competitions, prizes, publications, etc.),
• a request for the amount of support and the corresponding financial budget,
• a proposal to spread the requested financial support over the periods 1.3. to 31.7. 2024 and 1.8. to 28.2. 2025.

By submitting a project proposal, the student undertakes to indicate this fact in his/her thesis if he/she receives financial support for the project.
