At the election meeting of the FF MU Academic Senate, she received 11 out of 21 possible votes. The Rector has yet to officially confirm the election.
In the end, none of the amendments received sufficient support, and the budget will be implemented based on the original methodics presented by the faculty leadership. The appointment of doc. Burešová was also approved for the newly created post of Vice-Dean for Accreditation and Doctoral Studies.
At its extraordinary meeting on 12 February 2024, the Academic Senate of the MU Faculty of Arts continued to discuss two items that had not been resolved at the previous regular meeting.
The first was the proposal for the appointment of doc. Burešová to the newly created post of Vice-Dean for Accreditation and Doctoral Studies. After the presentation and discussion, the candidate was elected to the position by the Senators.
The next item was the budget methodics for 2024. The faculty leadership prepared a more detailed explanation of the proposed changes, and there was extensive discussion regarding the entire issue. In the end, none of the amendments received sufficient support in secret voting, and the methodics were approved as presented by the faculty leadership.

The next regular meeting of the Senate will be held on 25 March 2024.
